  2. Big Rivers and Plains: Rivers like the Ganga and Brahmaputra flood the flat plains easily because there is less slope.

  3. Poor Drainage Systems: In many cities, blocked drains and bad planning cause quick flooding during heavy rains.

  4. Melting Glaciers: In Himalayan regions like Uttarakhand, sudden glacial bursts cause dangerous floods.

  5. Climate Change: More unpredictable and intense rains are happening because of rising global temperatures.
